A peer group for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD)The Exceptional Friends group was made especially for you to connect, fellowship, and have fun with your peers. Through virtual and community based group recreation, we create opportunities to build social and independent living skills that will increase your capacity for self-determination. The Exceptional Friends group provides a safe, respectful environment that embraces the wonderfully unique person that God created you to be. If you enjoy games, music, and other social activities then this group is for you.

Get Down With Giving Back
In 2020 we started the "Get DOWN with Giving Back" mission. We began volunteering and participating in various outreach events in Mecklenburg County. Since then, together we have completed well over 1000 hrs of service providing food, clothing, and classroom supplies to people in our community and around the globe. We continue to demonstrate the capabilities of individuals with I/DD and also show the desire to be good citizens.
